About Ecology Services Company<\/strong><\/p>

Ecology Services Company from the Gadot Group has been operating in the field of environmental quality since 1992, and is considered one of the leading companies in Israel in the field of handling and disposal of hazardous materials and industrial waste.<\/p>

History and activity<\/strong><\/p>

Ecology Services was founded by Alex Mangold, and quickly became a leader in the field of handling hazardous materials. In 2016, the company’s factory was moved to Kiryat Gat, where a dedicated and advanced factory was built especially for working with hazardous materials.<\/p>

In 2021, the company was sold to Gadot Masopim and Chemicals, and it is currently managed by Shahar Milman the company’s CEO.<\/p>

Ecology Services Company aims to lead the field of industrial waste treatment while adopting the principles of protecting the environment.<\/p>

The company adopted the method used in Europe for waste treatment, which operates according to the 4R principles: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover. And we have developed advanced technologies that make it possible to realize these principles in full, while constantly striving to avoid landfilling waste and find sustainable solutions for the environment. For us, waste disposal is always the last priority.<\/p>

REDUCE - Reduction in waste generation

The ecology services plant collects inorganic industrial sludges and dries them with modern technologies that reduce the weight of the waste to about 70% of its original weight.<\/p>\n

The sludges reach the plant from many different industries such as metal plating
(contain metals such as \u2013 copper, nickel and more), the printing industry and more.
Some of the abatement technologies were imported (filter-press, sludge-dry)
And some of them were developed and built by the company’s engineers.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Reuse - REUSE Washing packaging and its supply

The factory picks up empty packages that contained dangerous substances, in which a procedure is carried out
Identification and sorting followed by treatment according to the test results.<\/p>\n

Types of empty packaging:
\u2013 200 liter barrels, lab bottles, jerricans, IBC cubes, big bag bags.<\/p>\n

We have at our disposal different technologies for washing the packages according to their types and the material they contained.
The packages are thoroughly washed for reuse.
It should be noted that all back-to-use washed packaging is not delivered to the food industries but only to chemical or other industries.<\/p>\n

The percentage of packaging that returns to use of the types mentioned above is about 35% of all packaging that is received and the rest of the packaging is transferred to the \u2013 RECYCLE cycle.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Waste recycling – Ecology services absorb a wide variety of waste products in which processing is carried out using different technologies that bring the material to a state of readiness for recycling – RECYCLE.<\/p>\n

The types of materials treated and put into circulation are: plastic packaging \u2013 barrels, jerricans, IBC cubes and big bag bags. Metal packaging \u2013 barrels, aerosols, disassembly of installations.<\/p>\n

The treatment of some materials such as plastic is washing and shredding and transfer for further treatment in the plastic industry.

Ecology services receive organic waste with a high caloric value that is used as a raw material for energy production.<\/p>\n

The types of materials used as a basis for such raw materials are extremely diverse, both from industry and the private sector.
For example: sprays of all kinds (pesticides, perfumes, air purifiers, etc.), organic-based paints, solvants and solvents, printing effluents.<\/p>\n

By the company’s technologies, it is possible to neutralize and separate the organic liquid inside the sprays and the metal (empty packaging) and transfer to metal recycling.
The company transfers the liquid as a raw material for the production of electricity and steam.<\/p>\n

Also, the company’s technologies filter out printing effluents and separate the dyes (pigments) from the organic liquid.
The clean liquid is exported as a substitute for diesel-for heating and the organic pigments are transferred as a raw material for burning and producing electricity and steam.<\/p>\n

The amount of materials\/invalids transferred to Transformation- RECOVER is constantly increasing thanks to the “extraction” technologies at the transit station and today stands at about 28%+ per year.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
